Available on Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th of June, guests can kick off their day with the Grilled Thinly-beaten Rump Steak (£17.95), served with a crispy potato rosti and two fried hens’ eggs. This breakfast is sure to give any dad the start they need before exploring Cardiff’s city centre or the bay.
For those opting for a more leisurely afternoon celebration, the Father’s Day Set Menu offers exceptional value at £29.95 for two courses or £34.95 for three.
The menu opens with The Ivy’s iconic Truffle Arancini for the table, followed by standout starters such as Steak Tartare with Toast, Duck Liver Parfait, Crab and Avocado Tian, or a refreshing Heirloom Tomato and Watermelon Salad.
For mains, the star dish is the Sirloin Steak with Cowboy Butter (£5.95 supplement) – a Himalayan salt wall dry-aged cut topped with a bold blend of fragrant herbs and smoked paprika. Other favourites include the rich and comforting Ivy Classic Shepherd’s Pie, the Chicken Milanese with Truffle Sauce, and a vibrant Gochujang Glazed Aubergine Salad.
Dessert options range from the famous Ivy Chocolate Bomb to the Raspberry and Pistachio Coupe, Crème Brûlée, or a curated Selection of Cheeses – all perfect for rounding off the meal in indulgent style.
To toast the occasion, The Ivy Cardiff is serving two exclusive Father’s Day drinks: the bold Western Whisky Smash – featuring Singleton 12, Crème d’Abricot, and fresh herbs – and the alcohol-free ‘Giddy Up’ Nettle and Mint Panache, blending Lucky Saint lager with lemon, mint, and nettle.
