First St. David’s Favourites Winner Has Been Crowned
FOR Cardiff has announced Parallel Cardiff is the first venue to be crowned St. David’s Favourite, with Daffodil as runner-up.

Throughout February the public has been sampling a selection of Welsh-inspired specials at hospitality venues across Cardiff city-centre and voting for their favourite.
Cheese and Leek croquettes from Parallel was crowned the winner and awarded the St. David’s Favourites trophy, crafted from Welsh slate and recycled wood and made in Wales.
Carolyn Brownell, Executive Director at FOR Cardiff said:
“Congratulations to Parallel and Daffodil on being crowned the first St. David’s Favourites winner and runner-up. It has been fantastic to see so many of Cardiff city-centre's hospitality businesses get involved in celebrating Welsh cuisine.”

St. David’s Favourites sought to celebrate Welsh produce and creativity and showcase Cardiff’s outstanding hospitality venues and was part of FOR Cardiff’s St. David’s Day celebration, Little Things.
Little Things – A St. David’s Day Celebration celebrated Welsh culture through small, joyful moments across the city-centre spotlighting five themes: gastronomy, music, literature, Welsh language and family.
The winner has been gifted a PR package managed by FOR Cardiff.
