On Thursday 2nd April, Tortilla, the UKs most loved Mexican restaurant, will be handing out 15,000 free burritos to Burrito Society members, from 3pm.
Last year’s giveaway saw thousands queue nationwide, driving a surge in app downloads and viral moments across social media. This year, Tortilla is continuing the momentum, giving away over 7.5 metric tonnes of burritos to hungry fans across the country, so whether you’re a chicken asado purist, vegan chilli devotee, or a pork carnitas fiend, your free burrito is just a few clicks away.
The rules are simple: just download the Tortilla app and follow the steps to create a Burrito Society account. All members will get their free burrito perk automatically added to their account on the day, so customers can just to head to the nearest participating Tortilla restaurant armed with the app to redeem for any medium burrito, bowl, or salad - guac, cheese sauce and chorizo add-ons included. The giveaway will commence from 3pm but we'd advise arriving a little earlier to beat the queues.
