Tramshed Cardiff to Host Wales World Cup 2026 Screenings
Cardiff’s premier live events space, Tramshed, will be rolling out the big screens to host Wales’ crucial World Cup playoff semi-final against Bosnia and Herzegovina on Thursday, 26 March.
Tramshed Cardiff
For those passionate Wales fans who can’t make it to the game itself, this is the next best thing. A thousand supporters will gather together to roar on The Dragons as they live every hard tackle, tense decision, and spectacular goal, on the venue’s giant screen, immersed in a world-class soundsystem. It has been 28 years since Wales last qualified for the World Cup, and as the country takes one step further in the competition, Tramshed will deliver an unrivalled matchday atmosphere.
DJs will be putting the Tramshed soundsystem through its paces as they set the tone before kick-off and keep the celebrations going long after the final whistle. With giveaways throughout the night adding to the sense of occasion and a free pint included in the price of the £5 ticket, it’s one of the most enjoyable and affordable ways to experience Wales’ biggest match in years.
Tramshed: Wales Vs Bosnia
Wales head coach Craig Bellamy has guided his team to within touching distance of the 2026 World Cup with a renewed attacking swagger. Captain Harry Wilson’s sensational hat-trick in the 7–1 demolition of North Macedonia - Wales’ biggest win since 1978 - has ignited a wave of confidence across the country. Hope and expectation are now more aligned than ever as The Dragons move closer to the 2026 finals.
Tramshed will open doors from 6pm and kick-off is at 7.45pm. Supporters are being urged to wear red, sing loudly and help turn the venue into a wall of noise as Wales chase a place in the playoff final.
Should Wales progress, Tramshed will re-open its doors on Tuesday, 31 March to screen the playoff final in a night that could seal the nation’s place on football’s biggest stage.
